Edmonton’s growth rings tell the Poly B story cleanly: mature pre-1970s districts mostly predate the material, while the big waves of suburban construction from the late 1970s through the 1990s sit squarely inside the installation window. Alberta’s provincial estimate of roughly 148,000 Poly B homes is concentrated in exactly these kinds of neighbourhoods.
